Who We Are
G&G Excavation LLC is a Watertown-based excavation and site work contractor serving homeowners, builders, and property managers across Jefferson County and the surrounding region. We handle the ground-level work that every build, drainage fix, and property improvement depends on: digging, grading, clearing, driveways, septic systems, ponds, and drainage correction.
We operate with owned equipment and operators who know this area. Northern New York has its own set of ground conditions, clay soils, frost depths, and drainage patterns that affect how excavation work gets done. Our crew has worked this ground and knows what to expect before the first bucket turns.
What We Do
We are a full-service excavation contractor. That means we can handle most of what a residential or commercial project needs without farming the work out to multiple subs. Site prep and grading, land clearing, driveway installation, septic system installation and replacement, drainage correction, foundation excavation, pond excavation, retaining walls, and sea walls along inland lakes and the St. Lawrence.

Our Equipment
We own our fleet. Excavators, dozers, skid steers, and dump trucks. Owning our equipment means we are not renting machines for your job and padding the bill for it, and it means we know exactly what we are working with on every site. When a job calls for a smaller machine to work around an existing septic field or a larger one to move significant volume, we have the options.
Licensed and Insured
G&G Excavation is licensed and insured. Certificates of insurance are available before work begins. For commercial clients and general contractors who need them upfront, just ask.
Where We Work
We work within roughly 50 miles of Watertown. That covers Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, and Oswego counties, plus the northern part of Oneida County. The main towns and cities we serve include Watertown, Carthage, Adams, Black River, Clayton, Cape Vincent, Alexandria Bay, Lowville, Gouverneur, Canton, Potsdam, Pulaski, and the surrounding areas.
