We are a full-service excavation contractor working across Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, Oswego, and Oneida counties. Here is a breakdown of the work we take on.
Site Preparation
Clearing, grading, and compaction to get a site ready for construction. We handle new home builds, additions, outbuildings, and commercial pads. This creates a stable, level base before construction work begins.
Land Clearing
Trees, brush, stumps, and overgrowth removed and hauled. We clear for new builds, driveways, farm access, and property improvement. We leave the area clean, open, and ready for work.
Driveways
New gravel driveway installation and resurfacing for residential and commercial properties. We grade the base, install the stone, and crown for drainage. This helps the driveway drain well and hold up longer.
Septic System Installation
New systems and replacements designed and installed to NY State and county code. We work with Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, Oswego, and Oneida county health departments.
Water Drainage Solutions
French drains, swales, regrading, and culverts for wet yards and runoff problems. We find where the water is coming from and fix it at the source.
Foundation Excavation
Footings and basements dug to spec and to the local frost line for new builds and additions. We work with your builder or architect and call utility locates before any digging.
Pond Excavation
New ponds and existing pond cleanouts for farms, estates, and recreational properties. We handle the dig, the shaping, and the overflow.
Retaining and Sea Walls.
Block, stone, and timber retaining walls plus shoreline work on inland lakes and the St. Lawrence River. Designed for the loads they will carry and the frost they will see.
Trenching and Stone Pads
Utility trenching, equipment pads, and access work for residential and commercial sites. If it needs a trench dug or a flat compacted surface, we handle it.

For Homeowners
Most of the calls we get from homeowners are about one of four problems: a wet yard or basement, a failing or aging septic system, a driveway that has had enough, or a piece of land they want cleared and usable. We handle all of them. We also do the site prep for new home builds and additions, foundation digs, pond excavation, and retaining walls.
We explain the work in plain language before we start, give you a real estimate after walking the site, and keep you posted if anything changes the plan mid-job.
For Contractors and Property Managers
We work as a sub on new construction and commercial site prep projects across the region. We can sequence around your other trades, keep the site organized between phases, and provide certificates of insurance on request. We handle everything from rough grading and foundation digs to parking lot drainage, stormwater work, and utility trenching.
